The results of the 1st round of International Olympiad 2016 have been declared by Indian Association of Physics Olympiad (IAPT). The exam is been conducted in 5 different subjects. As informed by Director of ALLEN Career Institute, Sh. Brajesh Maheshwari, National Standard Exam (NSE) conducted on 22nd November 2015 for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Junior Science Olympiad and a total of 171 students of ALLEN Classroom programme got selected. This made the students rejoiced along with the New Year celebration. From ALLEN in the subject Biology, 56 students were selected, in Astronomy 42 were selected, in Chemistry 29 were selected, in Junior Science 28 were selected and in Physics 16 were selected for the 2nd round. All the 5 Olympiads 2nd round examination will be conducted by Homi Baba Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) on National Level.

Pre- Nurture and Career Foundation Head, Sh. Tushar Parekh said, “ For the first time 3 students studying in the small classes competed with the 12th standard students in the Olympiad and created a new history by getting selected for the 2nd round in such age. In this National Level Exam Smit Jayesh Patel from Class 9th, Jeevesh from Class 7th in Biology Olympiad and Dhyey Sankalp Gandhi from Class 9th in Chemistry Olympiad competed with 12th class students and got selected for the second round and made everyone enthralled”.
ALLEN’s 11 Students shines in RMO also
It is worth noting that in the recently declared results of RMO (Regional Mathematics Olympiad) 11 students of ALLEN got selected for the 1st round. ALLEN Career Counselor Sh. Amit Ahuja informed that students of Class 11th participated in this Olympiad from ALLEN. The 1st round was been conducted on 6th December 2015. Students from all over the state 35 students including 5 girls got selected for IMNO – 2016. 2nd round of IMNO will be conducted on 17th January in which selected students from all the states will give the written examination.
