3 ALLEN Students to represent India in Junior Science Olympiad

3 out of 6 students shortlisted in Selection Camp are from ALLEN. To compete with students of 70 Nations in December in Indonesia

As per the results of the Orientation Cum Selection Camp of 13th International Junior Science Olympiad by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education Mumbai, which were announced on Sunday, 3 students from ALLEN Career Institute have been selected to represent India Internationally.  According to Mr Brajesh Maheshwari, Ayushman Tripathi, Gaurang dev and Nishant Abhangi studying in Class 9 at ALLEN have been selected in the team of 6, to compete for India in the Final round of 13th IJSO to be held in Bali Indonesia by the year end.

As per the Chairman IJSO, Prof Dr Kamsul Abraha, the final round of International Junior Science Olympiad to be held from 2nd to 11th December, will witness students less than 16 years of age from across 70 countries of world competing to prove their Scientific Excellence. They would get to learn Science for Creative Innovation at this young age and will get an opportunity to enhance their skills in natural science at an international level.

Ayushman & Gaurang make Kota Proud

Ayushman Tripathi, 14, a classroom student of class 9 at ALLEN Career Institute, scored highest marks in Theory and MCQ 2 in the selection camp. He also stood out as a topper in Chemistry and Biology Practicals. He has been proving his skills since a very young age. He has visited NASA twice as a topper of a national level competition. Also he has been a thrice a topper of another national level competition from his class 6th to 8th, consecutively. He has also bagged AIR 2 in Wild Wisdom Quiz, AIR 2 in Vidhyarthi Vigyan Manthan of Science & Technology Department, has been a state champion in Odisha’s Governor Quiz, and 2nd rank holder in TALLENTEX. He aspires to do research in MIT after B.Tech. from IIT.

Gaurang Dev, on the other hand has been a school topper since a very young age. He works on his concentration power and speed while indulging in video games along side his regular studies. He aspires to get into IIT for B.Tech. just like his elder brother and says that he got to learn a lot while studying at ALLEN Pre Nurture & Career Foundation Division.

Big Achievements at a Young Age

According to Mr Amit Gupta, Chief – Pre Nurture & Career Foundation Division at ALLEN, these young students proved their talent while competing with much elder students. Similarly, 2 another students of ALLEN, Lakshay Sharma and Yash Mehul Mehta are going to represent India in the International Astronomy Olympiad. Also, Jeevesh of class 7 and Smit Jayesh Patel of Class 9th have been selected for the Biology Olympiad and Dhyey Sankalp Gandhi from class 9th has been selected for Chemistry Olympiad.
