NEET-2018 official notification is announced at cbseneet.nic.in . CBSE has increased NEET Exam Cities from 107 cities to 150 in 2018. This move is an important step towards providing more relief to students. So it would be convenient for the candidates from smaller towns and villages as they can find centres closer to their homes. Increasing the number of exam cities will benefit them.
Forty-three new centres are added for the NEET2018 exam. For the first time, NEET exam would be conducted in 150 cities.
New centres include in Andhra Pradesh (5), Assam (2), Gujarat (3), Maharashtra (6), Odisha (4), Tamil Nadu (2), Kerala (5), Telangana (2), West Bengal (3), Uttar Pradesh (3) and one new centre each in Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Karnataka and Uttarakhand.
NEET-2018 will be held on 6th May 2018(Sunday).
As per notification on the official website, the online submission of application form for NEET-2018 has started today i.e. February 8, 2018 (Thursday) and will close on March 9, 2018 (Friday) up to 23:50 Hrs(IST). Students can pay online fees from February 8, 2018 (Thursday) until March 10, 2018 (Saturday) up to 23:50 Hrs(IST).
Fees for General/OBC candidates is Rs.1400 and for SC/ST/PH is Rs. 750. Aadhar Card is mandatory for Indian Citizens and ordinary residents of India to fill up the online application of NEET(UG)-2018 in all states except J&K, Assam and Meghalaya.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET-UG is an entrance examination in India, for students who wish to study any graduate medical course (MBBS/ dental course (BDS) or postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government or private medical colleges in India. NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses, are conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
