5 students from ALLEN Career Institute to Represent Team India in IJSO 2018

Final Round to be held in  Gaborone

ALLEN Career Institute is establishing a new dimension of excellence. Students of ALLEN Career Institute are also outshining in International level examinations.

The result of orientation cum selection camp (OCSC) organized for final team selection for the 15th IJSO-2018 was released today by Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (HBCSE). 5 students from the ALLEN Career Institute will represent India in 15th IJSO-2018

Sh. Naveen Maheshwari, Director of ALLEN Career Institute said, In the team of six students, five are from Allen Career Institute. Barun Parua, Naman Singh Rana, Mohit Gupta, Vaibhav Raj and Ameya Prashant Deshmukh all are Classroom students of  ALLEN Career Institute Kota. Barun and Ameya are selected on the basis of Class IX and Vaibhav, Mohit and Naman from class X.

Maheshwari said 15th IJSO-2018 will be held at Gaborone in the University of Botswana from the 2nd December until 11th December 2018. More than 50 countries are expected to take part in the 15th edition of IJSO.

IJSO is an annual academic competition that covers physics, chemistry and biology at the same time, for junior science students. The competition is known for its intricacy as it requires wide knowledge range in all the three basic sciences. Top junior science students from each country are selected to participate in the competition and each is given a chance to compete with their counterparts from across the globe.

The final stage will include more than 300 talented students from across 50 countries. The age of these students will be 15 years or less.  To reach the finals, this examination consists of four steps. This reputed examination that is conducted from zonal level to national level, is preceded by orientation cum selection camp held at HBCSE Mumbai, post which the Indian team for final is announced.
