50th National Mathematics Conference – 2015 Announced by AMTI


To meet and ponder on essential issues of Mathematics Education, mainly at school level, Association of Mathematics Teachers of India (AMTI) has been organizing National Mathematics Conference (NMC) from 27th to 30th December 2015 at Chennai.

Aim of the Conference

To deliberate on important issues of Mathematics Education.

How to Participate in EVENT:

Eligibility Criteria:-

Students heaving interest in Math education from class IX onwards.

Conference Theme:-   “REACHING EVERY LEARNER”

Papers / Exhibits for approval:

Typed abstract within 200 words along with the Registration form and delegate amount to reach the office of the AMTI by 01/10/2015
Full length papers (three copies) with CD to reach by 15/10/2015
Acceptance or otherwise by AMTI will be intimated by 15/11/2015

Important Note:-

  • Downloading from the net and presenting a topic as such should be strictly avoided.
  • Ideas can be downloaded and some amount of original value added work must be visible.
  • Original results or alternate proofs of mathematical results can be presented.
  • Uncommon elementary mathematical results with a good amount of pedagogical skills will be allowed.
  • Even common results with new pedagogical skills will also be allowed.

Number of student-participants:-

Along with a student paper- presenter, not more than 2 (students / teachers / parents / elders) is allowed subject to payment of delegate fees.

For members of AMTI & Teachers deputed by Institutional members (2 per institution only) 2000/-each 2500/- each
Non-members (with boarding & lodging) 2500/- ” 3000/- ”
Students (with boarding & lodging) 1500/- ” 2000/- ”

Kelambakkam, Padur, Chennai-603103.

Documents to be sent to AMTI:-

  • (a) The filled in application form and
    (b) A Demand Draft in favor of “The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India” payable at Chennai for the amount to be sent to AMTI (Amount x number of entries).
  • No other form of payment is acceptable from outstation Institutions and the amount paid once is not refundable on any account.

Entries without the Data Sheet will not be entertained.
