Homi Bhabha Centre for science education (HBCSE) Mumbai released list of selected students for orientation cum selection camp (OCSC) on Tuesday. This is the third stage of international Olympiad. In this result 70 Allen students were selected for next step.
Brajesh Maheshwari, Director Allen Career Institute said that in these 71 students 21 out of 36 In Biology Olympiad, 17 out of 36 in junior science Olympiad, 11 out of 37 in Physics Olympiad, 12 out of 36 in Chemistry Olympiad, in Mathematics Olympiad 3 and 7 students are selected in Astronomy Olympiad from ALLEN.
Brajesh Maheshwari Sir said that this is the highest selection number from any institute. In next step orientation cum selection camp (OCSC) by HBCSE will be organized between April to June. In this camp Special training will provide to students. On the basis of performance in OCSC 4 to 6 students team in every subject will be made for International Olympiad for final round. They will represent India at International Olympiad.
Sh. Maheshwari Sir further added that it is worth noting that the students and parents are now days aware about such Olympiads and there selection procedure. Students are actively preparing for such Olympiads along with their target exams.
