Continuing the winning streak in the year 2019, once again ALLEN Students outshine in Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad Result. A total of 11008 Students from all over the country are qualified for Regional Mathematical Olympiad the second round of International Mathematical Olympiad which is conducted by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) Mumbai, out of which 985 students are from ALLEN Career Institute.
513 Students of ALLEN Pre-Nurture & Career Foundation Division and 472 Students of Class 11 & 12 are qualified for RMO 2019.
These students will face their next competition on 6th October, after which 300 Students of Class 8 to 11 and 60 students of Class 12 from each state will be shortlisted for Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO).
The Mathematical Olympiad Programme in India, which leads to participation of Indian students in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) on behalf of the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. This programme is one of the major initiatives undertaken by NBHM. Its main purpose is to spot mathematical talent among pre-university students in the country.
The Mathematical Olympiad programme consists of six stages. The first stage is the Pre-Regional Mathematical Olympiad, the second stage is Regional Mathematical Olympiad, the third stage is Indian National Mathematical Olympiad whereas the fourth and fifth stage is IMO Training Camp and Pre-Departure Camp and the last stage is International Mathematical Olympiad.
