AIIMS Delhi is the First Choice of the Candidate in the Counseling
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released the final seat allotment of All India Quota for the NEET UG second round of counseling in the medical entrance exam NEET UG 2022. The second round of counseling of AIIMS, JIPMER and Central Universities, and ESIC Medical College Central Nursing Institutes was also done on a common portal (MCC). Regarding the advance mop-up round of the same counseling, MCC will release the new timetable after the conclusion of the second round.
Closing Ranks in the Medical Colleges
Allen Career Institute‘s career counseling expert Parijat Mishra told that the closing rank for MBBS courses in All India 15 percent quota was 20004 in a general category, 20369 in the OBC category, 103776 in SC, 131964 in ST, and 21553 in the EWS category. Similarly, in AIIMS Delhi, which is included in common counseling, the closing rank of the general category was 61, EWS category was 195, OBC was 247, SC was 965, and ST category was 3087. While in other AIIMS, the closing rank of the general category was 5943, EWS category was 7792, OBC was 6511, SC was 47710, and the ST category was 80052.
Parijat Mishra said that the closing rank of the general category was 940, EWS was 1442, OBC was 1679, SC was 22107, and ST category was 39785 in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) affiliated Institute of Medical Sciences Varanasi. Similarly, in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Aligarh affiliated with Aligarh Muslim University, the closing rank of the general category was 3696 and that of internal quota candidates was 10879. For internal state quota seats in medical colleges affiliated to Delhi University, the closing rank of the general category was 4998, EWS was 10037, OBC was 14459, SC category was 72559, and ST category was 178064.
Indraprastha University which includes Vardhman Mahaveer Medical College and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Science New Delhi, the closing rank of the general category was 2345, EWS was 5894, OBC was 9385, SC was 53166, and ST category was 182050 for internal state quota seats in internal quota. In the All India Quota of JIPMER Puducherry, the closing rank of the general category was 4473, EWS was 6907, OBC was 6075, SC was 39352, and ST category was 64990. In the internal quota of ESIC Medical College, the closing rank of the general category was 59092, EWS was 75245, OBC was 70209, SC was 219389, and ST category was 866541.
Similarly, in BDS seats of 15 percent All India quota, the closing rank of the General category was 35311, EWS was 42315, OBC was 38259, SC was 136003, and ST category was 181593. The closing rank of B.Sc Nursing Honors courses available in central institutions was 317064 in the general category, 808108 in EWS, 393668 in OBC, 367730 in SC, and 620444 in the ST category.
Student Will Have to Report in Person
Parijat Mishra told that college-allotted candidates will have to download their individual allotment letter from the MCC website by using their roll number and password. After this, you will have to report yourself in the allotted college with your original documents and fees, whose schedule has been released by MCC on its official website. Its deadline will be between 15 November to 22 November.
