NTA Releases Major Update Regarding Foreign Exam Centres
An important news has come to light for students preparing for engineering entrance exams. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the city intimation slips for candidates appearing for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 abroad.
Currently, these slips are available for students appearing in Dubai and Kuwait. This allows candidates to find out which city their exam will be held in.
However, a final announcement has not yet been made for students who have chosen an exam centre in Bahrain. The NTA has informed that it is coordinating with the Indian Embassy in this regard.
A final decision regarding exam arrangements will be issued soon. Therefore, Bahraini candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates.

What is the difference between a city slip and an admit card?
It is important to understand that a city intimation slip is not an admit card. It only provides information about the exam city.
On the other hand, the admit card (hall ticket) contains the complete address of the exam center, reporting time, and important exam guidelines. The admit card will be released a few days before the exam.
