Great news for aspirants of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). There is a sign of relief for Chandigarh and nearby students as Chandigarh will become a centre for online exam this academic year. The quota of seats will also increase this year. The students of Chandigarh and nearby places will no longer have to travel long distance to take the examination.
Moreover, AIIMS has also announced addition of two new branches (Guntur and Nagpur). This has made an increase in 100 seats. The addition of two more AIIMS will take the tally of AIIMS institutions to 9. Each of the new institutes will offer 50 seats.
AIIMS MBBS 2018 entrance exam will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test-CBT) on 26 and 27 May 2018. On each day, there will be two shifts (9.00 AM to 12.30 PM, and 3 PM to 6.30 PM).
AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria 2018-Candidate should have passed class 12 exam under a recognized scheme of examination. Candidate should have studied English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology as subject. In English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, aggregate percentage should be at least 60% for general and OBC candidates, and 50% for SC / ST / OPH candidates.
Students can register at aiimsexams.org in order to appear in the exam. There will be a window of exactly one month to complete registration and submit application form with fees.
Application form of AIIMS 2018 is now available. Last date to apply is March 5, 2018 (5 PM).
