The Vice-President of the ALLEN Career Institute, Vijay Soni and Allen Guwahati center Head, Brajesh Yadav made the formal announcement of the center launch after ribbon-cutting ceremony and duly worship at the Hotel ‘Lemon Tree’ in Siliguri on Monday (13 December). The offline Batches for the preparation of country’s biggest medical entrance examinations NEET-UG and JEE-Main and JEE Advanced will soon start at the Siliguri center from January 06 2022.
Addressing a press conference at the center launch ceremony, Vice president of the ALLEN Career Institute, Shri Vijay soni said that the students of Siliguri are continuously performing better in the IIT-JEE, NEET-UG, Olympiads, KVPY and NTSE and other examinations. “The students of Siliguri need better guidance for further improvement in their performance”. In view of the career-building of the aspirants, ALLEN is opening its second center in West Bengal after launching its center in Durgapur of south West Bengal in the past. Along with preparation for IIT-JEE and NEET, ALLEN Siliguri center will also provide coaching for Olympiads and class 6 to 12 Board examinations.
ALLEN Guwahati Center Head, Brajesh Yadav said that start of ALLEN’s center in Siliguri will prove to be a boon for the students of science stream in Siliguri. Earlier the students of Siliguri had to go to Kota for coaching of competitive examinations but now they will get the benefit of Kota coaching in Siliguri itself. There is great enthusiasm among parents and students with the arrival of Kota coaching and ALLEN in Siliguri which is known for its tea, timber and tourism.
As the world is living under the shadow of Covid-19 so the ALLEN Study center will be run on ‘Caring first model’. Just as the ALLEN Career Institute ensured healthy, safe and secured return of nearly 50000 students from Kota during Covid-19 lockdown and is now taking classes in Kota with Covid-19 protocols so ALLEN will also run its Siliguri Centre in compliance of all the Covid-19 guidelines. Care of the students will be given first priority, said Brajesh Yadav. ALLEN student welfare society (ASWS) will monitor the Student hostel and transportation facilities and will also oversee the compliance of the Covid-19 guidelines.
Siliguri is the third biggest city with urban agglomeration in the West Bengal after Kolkata and Asansol. Shri Kuldeep Singh, Center Head Siliguri said that the number of science students is more in West Bengal and the number of students interested in making a career in medical and engineering is increasing day by day so such students should get quality education.
