Earlier feared Chemistry, My Favorite Subject now
Vaibhav Raj (Begusarai, Bihar) JEE-Advanced Rank -03 | Father: Sunil Kumar Roy (Senior Scientific Officer, DGQA) | Mother: Sudha Roy (Housewife) | Institute: ALLEN Career Institute

Vaibhavraj of Begusarai, Bihar, who got ALL India Ran 03 in JEE Advanced, told that the preparation for Advanced was very good which is why I am sure about the success. I came to Kota in 2018 with the dream of entering the IITs and took admission in ALLEN. I stayed here with my mother, who completely supported me. I have previously won a gold medal at IJSO. I passed class 10 with 98 percent marks and 12th with 99 percent marks. I am also an NTSE scholar and had got AIR 45 in JEE Main. Apart from this, I have also been selected for Camp in Physics, Chemistry, Math and Astronomy Olympiad, while in KVPY in class 10, I got AIR 21 and in Class 12, I got AIR 7.

My father, Sunil Kumar Roy is a Senior Scientific Officer in the Directorate General of Quality Assurance, in the Ministry of Defense. Mother Sudha Roy is a homemaker and elder brother Vishal Raj is studying at IIT Kharagpur. After coming to Kota, I experienced a lot of changes in myself which proved to be good for me. Most importantly, confidence was strengthened. Before coming to Kota, I used to get scared of chemistry but now it’s my favorite subject. I had prepared for JEE following a strategy. I made a list of all the chapters, took out the important topics, then studied them following a schedule.

Dream of Owning a Startup

The best advantage of the lockdown was that I got a chance to revise the syllabus once again. The second-stage lockdown and unremitting relegation of the examination caused a slight worry, but ALLEN’s faculties kept motivating. I once again revised each topic during the lockdown. I dream of owning a startup after doing B-Tech in CS branch from IIT Mumbai.

Self- Confidence Strengthened me in Kota
Muhinder Raj (Bengaluru) JEE-Advanced Rank: 04 | Father- D. A. Raajvi (Businessman) | Mother- R. Kasimaalar | Institute: ALLEN Career Institute

Bengaluru resident R. Muhinder, who has been studying for the last two years, has secured AIR 4 in JEE Advanced. Prior to this, he got 100 NTA scores in JEE Main. Muhinder told that he had taken admission in ALLEN Career Institute two years ago. Kota is the city of dreams, because hard work is done here to make students’ dreams come true. After coming to Kota, my confidence got stronger. Faculties gave all the possible support. After JEE Main, I was eagerly waiting for JEE Advanced but due to the lockdown, exams got rescheduled further. Initially I was a bit nervous but ALLEN’s faculty motivated and I revised during lockdown. My concepts became stronger. Earlier, I had secured Silver Medal in ICHO and All India Rank 5 in KVPY. Apart from being an NTSE Scholar, I passed class X with 95.6 percent and 12th with 97.4 percent marks. I am interested in coding. My dream is to get admission in MIT and I am preparing for it. Father D. Raajvi is a businessman and mother R. Kasimaalar is a housewife.

Compete with yourself, only then you will get success
Kanishka Mittal – ALL India Girls Topper | Father: Anuj Kumar Mittal (Businessman) | Mother: Suchita Mittal (Housewife) | Institute: ALLEN Career Institute

Kanishka Mittal, a resident of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh and a classroom student of ALLEN Career Institute, has got All India Rank 17 in JEE Advanced. Kanishka told that she has  been studying in Kota for the last  two years. My elder brother is doing B.Tech. Seeing him, I got inspired and came to Kota with the dream of becoming an IITian. To prepare  for JEE, getting admission in ALLEN proved a turning point for me. Because at ALLEN hard work and efforts  are put to not only help in the selection of the student but also to make him a topper. All the resources are provided here, which a student needs to become a doctor-engineer. I never compared myself to others. I was in competition with myself. That’s why I always tried to give my best. I believed in myself that I could. Focused on what ALLEN taught in. I used to do homework regularly. I practiced more and more questions because JEE paper is new every time. Questions can come from any topic, from anywhere. Before coming to Kota, Math was strong and Physics was weak. Physics is taught in ALLEN so well that now my physics is the strongest. I have passed 12th class with 98.4% and 10th class with 99% marks.

Took full advantage of the lockdown

After JEE Main, there was preparation for advanced but due to the lockdown the exam was pushed forward. I took full advantage of this time. Working on the weak points of the three subjects strengthened my understanding. I pulled out maximum doubts and solved them with the help of faculty. Probably, due to the lockdown I have attained this rank. Father Anuj Kumar Mittal runs a photostat shop. Mother Suchita Mittal is a housewife. During my studies in Kota, I got the support of both my parents. Both kept in touch with me from Moradabad.
