Brajesh Maheshwari Director, “This year, ALLEN’s classroom student, Divyansh Garg has outshined other students by being selected in the team of 5 students, to represent India in Zurich, Switzerland in the 47th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO)”.
“Mumbai based Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education conducts the National Level Physics Olympiad in 3 difficult stages in which thousands of students from classes 11th and 12th participated this year, out of which only 35 students qualified for the Orientation Cum Selection Camp. After a competition at Bhabha Center for Science Education in Mumbai, only 5 students including Divyansh, were selected to represent India in the International Physics Olympiad who will now compete to win medals for the country”, further says Sh. Brajesh Maheshwari, Director ALLEN Career Institute.
It is worth noting that Divyansh has also been selected for the Tata Scholarship by Cornell University America. He won a scholarship of 71 Thousand Dollars by Tata Education & Development Trust for better research in the field of Computer Science. Also, Divyansh has bagged the prestigious KVPY Scholarship along with being an NTSE Scholar too. Earlier Divyansh also won a Gold medal in IJSO 2013. In the recent results of BITS Pilani, He scored a total of 424 marks out of 450. Also, his average score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Boards has been 99.3% with a score of 302 in JEE Main this year.
The 47th International Physics Olympiad will take place from July 11 to 17, 2016 in Zurich in which the teams from around 90 countries of the world will participate. Each team will consist of 5 students selected after a sift process on a national level that will then represent their country on the International level.
