Once again ALLEN Students proved their Excellence in International Olympiad.
3 Classroom students of ALLEN Career Institute have made the country proud by bagging Gold & Silver Medals in 51st International Chemistry Olympiad.
Dhyey Sankalp Gandhi, Mudita Goyal and R. Muhender Raj were selected in the National Team of 4 to Represent India in 51st International Chemistry Olympiad. This team was announced based on their performance in Orientation Cum Selection Camp. The team had undergone rigorous Pre-Departure Training programme, in which they were trained for the Olympiad.
Dhyey Sankalp Gandhi and Mudita Goyal won a GOLD MEDAL while R. Muhender Raj won a SILVER MEDAL in IChO 2019 which was held in France, Paris from 21st to 30th July 2019.
The International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) is an annual competition for the world’s most talented chemistry students at the secondary school level. Nations around the world send a team of four students who are tested on their chemistry knowledge and skills in a five-hour laboratory practical and five-hour written theoretical examination that are held on separate days with the practical examination usually being before the theoretical examination.
International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) follows a five-stage procedure
(i) National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC),
(ii) Indian National Chemistry Olympiad (INChO),
(iii) Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) in chemistry,
(iv) Pre-departure Training Camp (PDT) for IChO,
(v) International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO)
