The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna, KVPY 2013 examination, conducted on national level, announced their results in which ALLEN Students have performed exceedingly well.
According to Shri Brajesh Maheshwari, director, ALLEN Career Institute, Mayank Bhootra of class 12th, a classroom course student at ALLEN bagged the 3rd position on All-India level.
Amongst the Top 100, Haardik Verma of 12th class acquired the 17th position, Vaidant Vaidhya got 33rd AIR, Mudit Agrawal and Sampriti Agrawal of class 11th acquired 43rd and 95th AIR respectively.
A total of 50 students of the institute have been selected for KVPY 2013, where 19 students are from 11th class and 31 belong to the 12th class.
This examination is conducted by Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 2 rounds for the students of 11th and 12th classes, in which the Best Students are selected from throughout the country, after a tough competition of written examination in 1st round followed by an Interview in the 2nd round. The selected students are awarded with a scholarship worth Rs 4000 till the graduation level (science stream).
Other than this, the selected students are awarded merit for higher studies in Prestigious research institutes like IISC, Bangalore and IISER.
The KVPY written examination was conducted on 27th October 2013 and the Interviews were conducted from 18th January 2014 to 6th February.
