The 55th Edition Of The International Chemistry Olympiad Held in Switzerland From 16 – 25 July 2023
India’s pride soared to new heights as ALLEN Career Institute Pvt Ltd students showcased their brilliance at the 55th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) held in Zurich, Switzerland, from 16th to 25th July 2023. The prestigious competition witnessed the participation of 348 students representing 87 countries in its four rounds.
In the final round, a team of four students represented India; all were ALLENites. ALLEN classroom student Krish Shrivastav won the Gold medal. Similarly, classroom students Aditi Singh, Avneesh Bansal, and Malay Kedia secured the Silver medals.
Dr Brajesh Maheshwari, Director of ALLEN Career Institute Pvt Ltd, expressed his delight at the remarkable achievement of these students. He highlighted how these exceptional students have once again made India proud with their performance at the international level.
After the first stage of the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), which is the National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC) an impressive 77 students from ALLEN were selected to advance to the second stage, the Indian National Chemistry Olympiad (INChO). It is a testament to ALLEN’s commitment to academic excellence and their ability to identify and nurture talented individuals.
The next challenge was the Orientation-cum-Selection Camp (OCSC), where 13 students were chosen based on written and practical examinations to represent India at the prestigious International Chemistry Olympiad. Remarkably, all four students selected for the Indian team were ALLEN classroom students.
