8 students stood in the top 10 state merit, Total of 153 students qualified from 7 states
National Talent Search Examination, (NTSE 2015-16) stage-1 result has been declared by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). ALLEN’s 101 students got qualified for the second round from Rajasthan, which is the highest number.
Director, Sh. Naveen Maheshwari told that till now 151 students got selected from ALLEN, which includes 101 students from Rajasthan, 36 from Madhya Pradesh, 5 from Chandigarh, 4 from Haryana,3 from Uttar Pradesh, 3 from Orissa and 1 from Chhattisgarh. Gujarat result is not declared till now. In top 10 state merit, 8 students from ALLEN Pre-Nurture and Career Foundation (PNCF) Division of Class 10th stood at Merit 3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th,8th,9th and 10th. State Topper Chinmaya Goyal got 149 marks and currently, he is preparing for JEE- Advanced at ALLEN Jaipur Center. In stage-1 from all over the state 249 students got qualified for the 2nd round in which 190 students from general, 40 from SC, and 19 from ST.
This year Scholarship will be 2 times
According to Sh. Amit Gupta, ALLEN PNCF head, Ministry of HRD has decided this year in NTSE-2016 2000 students will be given a monthly scholarship. Till last year only 1000 students selected from all over the country was given the scholarship. The students selected from the last stage at national level will get Rs. 1250 per month scholarship in class 11th and 12th and in graduation and post-graduation they will get Rs. 2000 per month scholarship i.e. 24 thousand per year. 4000 students selected from all the states will appear for the second round of the exam.
