Pass Percentage of HSLC 2026 is 65.62%
The wait for millions of students in Assam is finally over. The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) officially released the Class 10 (HSLC) exam results today, April 10, 2026, at 10:30 am.
A total of 438,565 students appeared for the exam this year, of which 65.62% have been declared successful. Students can now easily check and download their results online.
Education Minister Shares Information Through Social Media
Ranoj Pegu, Cabinet Minister for Higher Education, School Education, and Tribal Affairs in the Assam government, shared the news of the results release via the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Following this, the board also activated the result link on the official website, allowing students to access their mark sheets.

The Assam Board results have been released on SEBA’s official website, sebaonline.org. Students can also check their results through other trusted platforms. The online marksheet clearly displays students’ subject-wise marks, total marks, and pass/fail status.
How Boys and Girls Performed
Looking at the performance of students who appeared in the exam this year, the pass percentage for boys was slightly better than for girls.
- A total of 186,468 boys appeared for the exam, of which 126,398 passed. This gives a pass percentage of 67.78% for boys.
- Meanwhile, 242,781 girls appeared for the exam, of which 155,303 were successful. The pass percentage for girls was 63.96%.
These figures indicate that the performance of both categories was balanced, although boys have a slight advantage this time.
When was the exam held?
The Assam Board Class 10 exams were held between February 10 and February 27, 2026. The exams were conducted peacefully at various centers across the state. Following this, students were eagerly awaiting their results, which have now ended.

Students can check and download their results by following the simple steps below:
- First, visit SEBA’s official website, sebaonline.org.
- Click on the “HSLC Examination Results 2026” link on the homepage.
- Now enter your roll number and other required information.
- Upon submitting, your marksheet will appear on the screen.
- Download it and save it for future reference.
Why is an online marksheet important?
The online marksheet is an important document for students after the results are released. However, it is only provisional. Students are advised to obtain their original marksheets from their respective schools, which will be required for further studies or admissions.
