The counseling process for the Birla Institute of Technology and Science has been started. The BITSAT exam was conducted in online mode from August 3 to 9. Students can now apply up to August 21 for counseling being conducted for admissions in BITS Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.
The application process for counseling will be held in three stages. In the first stage, students will have to check their information; in case of any error, students can make changes. In the second stage, the students need to fill their Class 12th marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. In the third stage, the students must mention their priority of branch-wise BITS campuses in descending order.
The fee for appearing in the counseling is Rs 1000, which is non-refundable. BITS is one of the institutes in India where there is no reservation for any category, and also, the admission eligibility is the same for all categories. For admissions in BITS, it is mandatory to have an average of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths and 60% in each.
More than 68 thousand new students have applied for JEE-Main fourth and final session; these are the students who did not appear for all three sessions held earlier. In such a situation, more than 7 lakh students will appear in the fourth session as well as more than 10 lakh unique candidates will appear in JEE-Main by combining all four sessions. Based on which AIR will be issued. The examination for the fourth and final session will be held on 26, 27, 31 August, and 1 and 2 September.
