For those who wish to study at the Pilani, Goa or Hyderabad campuses of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), The registration process for BITSAT, a computer-based online test for admission to integrated first degree programmes of the institute, has been started. These integrated programmes include BE (hons) chemical, civil, computer science, electrical and electronics, mechanical, BPharm (hons), and MSc (hons).
BITSAT 2014 will be a three-hour test consisting of four parts: physics, chemistry, English proficiency and logical reasoning and mathematics or biology (for BPharm candidates). All questions will be of multiple choice type with negative marking. The test will have a total of 150 questions, with each correct answer fetching three marks. The test will be conducted on the basis of Class 11 and 12 syllabus.
