The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to declare the results of the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main), formerly All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), on Monday, April 30, 2018. The results are expected to be announced at 11 am today. However, the timing could not be confirmed with the officials.
This year, around 14 lakh candidates took the JEE Main entrance exam to pursue higher education in technical courses in the country. Candidates who have appeared for the JEE Main online and offline paper can check their result at the official website of the exam – jeemain.nic.in.
The JEE Main exam offline mode was conducted on April 8 while the exams for online mode were conducted on April 15 and 16, 2018. The exam for JEE Advanced 2018 will be held on May 20, 2018, for that the registration process will start from May 2, 2018.The IIT JEE Advanced exam will be conducted through online (Computer Based) mode only. The examination will consist 2 papers. It is mandatory for the candidates to attempt both the papers.
The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 will be conducted by the IITs. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs.
