Re-Evaluation Will be Done in Three Steps

After releasing the results of class 10th and results of Class 12th, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued a notification for the revaluation process on Monday. According to the released notification, there will be a three-step revaluation process, in which revaluation can be done only after the first and second step of application. This entire process will be online on the CBSE website.

After the result declaration, a large number of students are not satisfied with their results. These students have been given an opportunity for revaluation by CBSE. This process has been kept in three steps. In the first step students will apply for verification of marks, the date of which has been kept between 17th to 21st May. For this, students will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500 per subject.

Only after applying for verification of marks, students will be able to apply for a photocopy of their answer book in the second step. Students have been given time from 1st to 2nd June to apply for this. To obtain a photocopy of the verified answer sheet, a fee of Rs 700 will have to be paid per answer sheet.

If the student is not satisfied with the evaluation done in these two stages, then he will be able to apply for revaluation in the third stage. In the third and final step, applications can be made between 6th to 7th June, for which the student will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 for re-checking each question.

These Students Must Apply

After Covid, now the requirement of 75 percent board marks in the IIT-NIT admission process has been released. In such a situation, this year JEE 12th exam of 2024 may have board eligibility of 75 percent for General, OBC and EWS and 65 percent for ST-SC and PWD or top 20 percentile according to category.

Students who have not obtained 75 percent marks in boards should take advantage of this given opportunity. Apart from this, these students can also fulfill their board eligibility by giving improvement examination in one or more subjects. Information about applying for improvement will be released on CBSE website.

All students should now start trying for admission in engineering institutes, because the admission application process is still going on in many coveted engineering institutes of the country. Students can apply for admission to institutes like BITS Pilani, Manipal, Mangaluru, PES Bengaluru, KIIT Kalinga, SRM Chennai, MIT Pune, UPES Dehradun, NIIMS Mumbai, Shiv Nadar Noida, Bennett Noida, BBP Pune, LPU Punjab etc.

Admission to all these institutions is through their own entrance examination. Apart from this, all the students who are not likely to get core branch in NIT-IIIT on the basis of JEE-Main, can opt for MNIT Jaipur, JP Noida, Thapar Patiala, DTU, NSIT, Nirma Ahmedabad, Dhirubhai Ambani, IIIT Hyderabad on the basis of JEE-Main.
