Although The Biannual System Will Not Be Mandatory For The Students
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) reportedly will introduce a major change in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examination pattern. CBSE will organize board exams twice a year in class 10 and class 12 from year 2025. Although the biannual board examination system will not come into force from this year’s board examinations of class 10 and class 12.
The decision of organizing class 10 and class 12 board examinations twice a year will revolutionize the Indian education system. The move will not only ensure continuous learning but also reduce examination stress in students. Student will be to retain his best score out of the two board examinations in a year.
The decision is more student-centric and also aims to reduce educated-related stress among the students of class 10 and class 12. Students will feel more relaxed and stress-free in the new biannual system of board examination. When the students will not feel pressure it would increase their mental well-being which will in turn improve their performance.
Also, students will be able to rectify their mistakes when they will get another chance of appearing in board examinations. The move will foster a more personalized and adaptive learning experience.
Meanwhile, the CBSE class 10 and class 12 board examinations will begin from 15th February this year.
