Online Reporting Till 5 PM On August 11
The CSAB counselling 2023 Special Round 1 Seat allotment Result has been announced, which is being conducted for 11295 vacant seats in 93 colleges of NIT, IIIT and GFTI. Students, who have been allotted any college seat for the first time in the first round, will have to deposit the institute admission fee by 5 pm on August 11 and do online reporting by uploading the required documents.
The seat acceptance fee has been kept at Rs. 32000 for general and OBC and Rs. 12000 for SC and ST. Students will have to take confirmation of their allotted seat after document verification by depositing Institute Admission Fee during online reporting. The student will have to respond to the query on the allotment by 5 pm on August 12.

Last Chance To Surrender Seat
After the first round seat allotment, students will have to choose one of the five options during online reporting. Students can participate in further counselling by choosing the option of Freeze, Float and Slide.
Along with this, the student can surrender the seat and go to the next round of counselling and can also leave the allotted seat by withdrawing. This is the last chance for the students to surrender the seat. Students can surrender their allotted seats and get the fees refunded in the first round of online reporting only.
JoSAA seat given for non-availability of new seat, documents verification will not be done
According to Expert Ahuja, a large number of students had participated in the CSAB counselling 2023 who had been allotted seats in JoSAA but wanted to upgrade their seats, as well as these students paid the seat acceptance fee and partial admission for the seat allotment during JoSAA counseling.
He had secured his seat by depositing the fees. Now if he is not allotted any new seat in the special round, then he has been re-allotted the college seat allotted in Josa counselling. Also, they will not have to deposit any institute admission fee if they are allotted a new seat in the special round of counselling.
Earlier verified documents of these students will be valid in JoSAA counseling, now they will not have to get the documents verified again.
