Great relief for thousands of students, having confusion about the application of NEET-2018. The students, who have been declared ineligible by the CBSE, have been asked by the Delhi High Court to apply for the examination. In the Court No. 6 of the Delhi High Court, the bench of Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Chandrashekhar ordered on the writ petition No. 1970/2016, Saurabh Singh and others vs Union of India and others.
The petition was filed on February 27 regarding various points of the students, who were disqualified for the examination NEET-2018. On this, the Hon’ble Court heard the case on 28th February.
The petitioner’s advocate Archana Pathak Dave, Manish Sharma and Prakash Jha said that under the order, the court passed an interim order and directed the counter-respondents that no student should be stopped from filling up the examination application form for his admission on the above basis. This includes the students of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Advanced Biology, 12th standard private students. It is notable that in the notification issued by the CBSE, these students were disqualified for applying.
