Develop High Thinking Speed and Double Your Retention for JEE/NEET With DI Analysis

When you learn something new, practice is essential. You knew that I bet. But did you know that simply repeating the same moves is not the best way to accelerate your learning and retention?

Fast thinking is essential, but sheer processing speed is often less valuable than accuracy. With us, learn the best way to help you think faster and more efficiently. Increased thinking speed is essential for an aspirant’s success in competitive exams like NEET and JEE. The breakthrough in competitive exams depends on speed and accuracy, which can be increased with the proper study techniques. This blog will take you through the most effective method.

When it comes to JEE Advanced, success depends on IQ and deep thinking. Even in the early age exams like NTSE and Olympiads, a student needs to hone the power of faster thinking and learning. Let me get it straight, paper-solving speed is proportional to thinking speed. Now, what is this thinking speed? It is – correctly interpreting while reading, churning out the core concept from the brain, and applying it to solve a question. Therefore, the paper solving speed depends upon your thinking speed and manipulation.

Here is the DI Analysis that will help you

What exactly is DI Analysis?

D means delayed thinking

I means instantaneous thinking

While studying a topic or solving a set of questions, you need to apply DI Analysis, in which you need to divide your questions into two parts. One – that takes less or no time to solve is instantaneous thinking (I). Two – that takes more time to solve or interpret is delayed thinking (D).

Make a DI Analysis Booklet

Make a separate solution booklet, do not make the analysis in your module or question paper. Now what you have to do next is start paying more attention to the D questions. Do not give more energy and time to the I questions, as they are the ones you are comfortable solving.

In the next 7 to 14 days, reattempt the D questions. While revising and reattempting, only review the questions marked as D. Also, make short notes of these D marking questions, where you must write everything you feel essential. Revise them before every mock test. Gradually your speed and accuracy will increase.

How is DI Analysis effective?

It’s the simplest yet effective way to increase thinking speed. When you revise the entire syllabus, you tend to give your time and energy to the questions you are pretty comfortable with, but this is not our motive. Our motive is to provide us with an edge on the questions that take up more of our time to solve those questions with speed when they appear in the question paper.

Students are using it and, from what I can tell, achievers are too. So begin your DI Analysis today and increase your speed.

 Happy Learning!
