Every third NTSE 2017 Scholar from ALLEN. Once again ALLEN proved superiority in the NTSE results.

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE 2017) Phase II results have been released by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) -2017). ALLEN Career Institute students have once again proved their superiority in the results. If we take a look at the national average, we would see that almost 1/3rd students selected in Phase II of NTSE are from ALLEN Career Institute which means that every third NTSE scholar belong to ALLEN! After the phenomenal success in NTSE, the ALLEN Family celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony at ALLEN Sankalp situated in Indra Vihar.

According to Sh Naveen maheshwari, Director ALLEN Career Institute, a total of 922 students have been shortlisted across the country as per the results issued by the NCERT. Out of these, 297 students are from ALLEN alone. Among these 297 students, 202 are of classroom coaching, 68 of Workshop and 27 students are ALLEN’s Distance Learning programme. 11 are from Ahmedabad, 23 from classroom course and 1 from workshop are from Bengaluru, 33 from classroom and 6 from workshop in Chandigarh, 48 students from Jaipur classroom, 15 students from classroom and 3 from workshop from Indore, 54 from classroom and 41 workshop from Kota, 5 classroom and 17 workshop students from Mumbai, 1 classroom student from Rajkot, 5 from Ranchi, 4 from Surat & 3 from Vadodara have been selected in NTSE Phase-II.

Students to get Scholarship up to Rs. 2000

Maheshwari told that the students selected in the 2nd phase of NTSE are given a monthly scholarship by the Ministry of Human Resources & development. Its first phase examination is organized by the State Board in the month of November. In this, about 5000 students are selected for the second phase. After the second phase examination, about 1000 students are selected according to the cutoff marks, where this year this number is 922. In the last phase, students selected at the national level will get Rs 1250 per month for the scholarship in 11th and 12th class. At Graduation and PG level, they will get 2 thousand rupees per month or a scholarship of Rs 24,000 annually. It is worth mentioning that in the first phase of the NTSE, 4 thousand selected students from different states appear for the second stage examination.
