NEET & CUET UG Will Be Held in May 2024 While JEE Main Will Take Place in Two Sessions in January-February and in April
The National Testing Agency (NTA) today released the Examination calendar for Academic year 2024-25. NTA has announced the examination dates of NEET-UG 2024-25, and both the sessions of JEE Main 2024-25. While the examination dates of Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) has also been announced.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the examination schedule for the 2024-25 academic year, encompassing NEET-UG, JEE Main, CUET, and UGC NET. In the upcoming year, NEET and CUET UG are scheduled for May 2024, while JEE Main will be conducted in two sessions, one from January 24 to February 1, and the other from April 1 to April 15, 2024.
JEE Main acts as the key gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering and technology programs at IIITs, NITs, and various other engineering colleges. Additionally, it serves as the qualifying examination for IIT JEE Advanced. NEET UG 2024 is set for May 5 and serves as the entrance test for undergraduate medical courses across the country.
Moreover, CUET UG is slated to occur from May 15 to May 31, with CUET PG scheduled from March 11 to March 28. The UGC NET 2024 examination will take place from June 10 to June 21.
Except NEET UG, all the other examinations, including JEE Main, CUET, and UGC NET, will be held in Computer based Test (CBT) mode. While NEET-UG will take place in Pen and Paper/OMR Mode.
Results for computer-based examinations will be disclosed within a span of three weeks, while NEET UG, being an offline exam, will have its results announced by the second week of June. NTA underscores that specific examination details will be communicated to candidates through the Information Bulletin of the respective examinations, to be published during the launch of the Registration Forms for these exams.
