Four students of ALLEN received Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021

The Government of India has been awarding the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar to children of the nation with extraordinary abilities and excellent accomplishments in innovation, scholastics, sports, arts and culture, social service, and bravery.

This year, 32 children of the country were honoured with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar on 25th January during a virtual program. Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with all these exceptional students through video conferencing. The prime minister encouraged the students and motivated them to carry forward with the extraordinary work. The children have been conferred the award in various categories, 4 amongst the 32 awardees were students of ALLEN Career Institute. It is a moment of immense pride for the institute.

Naveen Maheshwari, Director of ALLEN Career Institute, informed that all four ALLEN students were selected for this award because they were remarkable achievers in different fields.

11th-grade student Anand Kumar received the award in the Scholastic Achievement category; Anand is currently preparing for JEE-Advanced from ALLEN. Archit Rahul Patil of class 9 has been awarded in the field of innovation. Anvesh Shubham Pradhan of class 9 has also been awarded for Scholastic Achievement, and Anuj Jain of grade 8 was awarded for Scholastic Achievement.

Commending the young achievers, President Ram Nath Kovind has stated, “I am hopeful that Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, 2021 would not only motivate the winners but will also encourage millions of other young children to dream, aspire and stretch their limits. Let us all do our personal best to take our nation to new zenith of success and prosperity.”

The Awardees from ALLEN

Anand was awarded for his excellence in the field of Scholastics

Anand’s research paper on ‘ Sums of Polynomial type exceptional units’ was published in the international journal Archiv Der Mathematik (Springer) Switzerland on 10th December 2019. He co-authored the paper with two Ph.D. scholars under the supervision of Harishchandra Research Institute, Prayagraj. He was the only student selected from India for the undergraduate student paper presentation in MAA Mathfest 2019 (Mathematical Association of America) Conference at Cincinnati, USA, held on 2nd August 2019. He was awarded the spirit of Ramanujan Fellowship Award 2020, USA from India, in class 10. He has been a gold medallist in several Olympiads and won numerous international and national awards.

 

Archit Rahul Patil was awarded for his excellence in the field of Innovation

Archit designed a life-saving ultra-low-cost silicon device, ‘Post- Partum Hemorrhage Cup (PPH)’. This innovation will help prevent women’s death from excessive bleeding during labour. It will allow doctors to accurately measure the quantum of post-delivery blood loss in women in real-time. The government bestowed Archit with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar for this innovation. Archit was also recently honored by Iris and Intel Company. He has been awarded at various levels, including the youngest innovator MS Signature Award 2020.

Anuj Jain was awarded for his excellence in the field of Scholastics

Anuj holds gold, silver, and bronze medals in three different competitions of the 13th International Earth Science Olympiad, held in South Korea. Anuj also won a silver medal at International Earth Science Olympiad-2019. He received a Certificate for Programming from the University of Toronto. He scored a 100% grade in a meteorology course by Harvard University (USA). He Got 5/5 bands in Physics in College Board exams. His set score in chemistry was 800 out of 800. He was also selected for the Stanford Pre-collegiate Studies of Electromagnetics. He is also an NTSE Scholar with an All India rank of 4. Being an all-rounder in academics, he has been awarded medals and certificates in science, mathematics, cyber and English competitions at national and international levels.

Anvesh Shubham Pradhan was awarded for his excellence in the field of Scholastics

Anvesh has won more than 400 medals, prizes, and certificates in various examinations at reputed international, national, state-level competitions. He won the Gold medal at Singapore & Asian School Maths Olympiad for three consecutive years. He also won a Singapore Trip for topping the International Society for Olympiads. Along with this, he won a gold medal at the Thailand International Mathematics Olympiad. Since the first standard, he has been consistently performing with flying colours.
