GSEB Board Exam 2022 Dates Revised

The GSEB has issued a revised schedule for all its examinations, including the class 10 and 12 board examinations. The GSEB has also revised the schedule for summer vacation and the commencement of the new academic session.

Earlier, the prelims examination, or second examination and, class 9 to class 12 examination were scheduled to start from 27 January 2022 which now will be held between 10 February 2022 and 18 February. Meanwhile, the examinations for class 9 to class 11 will be held from 21 April 2022 to 30 April 2022 which were scheduled to commence from 11 April 2022 to 21 April 2022.

Further, the board examination for classes 10 and 12 will be held from 28 March 2022 to 12 April 2022 instead of 14 March 2022 to 30 March 2022. Also, the Talent search test (class 9) will now be held on 22 February 2022 instead of the earlier schedule of 7 February 2022.

The board subject at school level examination theoretical-experiment will be held from 24 February 2022 to 26 February 2022 which earlier were scheduled to begin from 9 February 2022 to 11 February 2022.

The Experimental/Practical examination (class 12) will commence from 2 March 2022 to 12 March 2022 instead of 14 February 2022 to 23 February 2022.

Similarly, summer vacations have also been rescheduled. Instead of the summer vacations from 2 May 2022 to 5 June 2022 as per the earlier schedule, the summer vacations will now start from 9 May 2022 to 12 June 2022. The academic session 2022-23 will also commence from 13 June 2022 in place of the earlier 6 June 2022.

Reportedly, the Board authorities have revised the examination, summer vacation, and academic session start dates with a view to finish the syllabus and provide additional times to the students for examination preparation.
