This year, KVPY will be held on 9 January, jointly organized by the Department of science and technology of the government of India and the Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru. The question arises as to how one should prepare for KVPY to clinch prestigious scholarship of KVPY
These are the final days of preparation for the KVPY examination, in which scholarships can be won by preparing small-small topics. Students should have read the SA and SX schemes topics and have enough information on the SA/SX schemes.
Here, we are trying to quench the curiosity of the aspirants and provide information about KVPY to them. Questions like the topics and eligibility for the examination of SA stream of class 11 and SX stream of class 12 for the students, what kind of scholarship is granted through the examination, and from which class to which class benefit of a scholarship is extended?

KVPY SX Stream Paper is divided into Parts 1 and 2. Every part has four sections. Similarly, 2 marks are granted for every correct answer, while 0.5 marks are deducted for the false answer in the Part 2 paper. There are options available for the SX Stream students. A student can solve any three sections in Part 2 and any two sections in Part-2.
For applying for SX Stream, the student should have taken admission in class 12 with the science stream in the current academic session. Students should have secured 75% marks in the High school examinations with science and mathematics subjects. Students of SC and ST reserved category should have scored a minimum of 65% in class 12. Students should have either taken admission in any recognized university of the country or have taken admission in BSc, BA, B. SAT, Beemath, Integrated M.Sc, and Integrated MS courses of any institute. Only those SX examination qualified students will be bestowed with fellowship when he/they would have cleared their graduation with a minimum of 60% marks. At the same time, the students of the SC/ST category should have cleared the examination with 50% marks.
