HRD Minister released important information for the aspirants of JEE Main and NEET (UG) 2020

The exam dates for JEE Main 2020 and NEET UG 2020 has been announced by Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry. JEE Main 2020 exam will be held from 18 to 23 July, while the NEET-UG 2020 exam will be held on 26 July.

According to HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank every year more than 15 Lac students appear in NEET (UG) Exam. This year the number of examination centres will be doubled in view with the social distancing to be maintained due to coronavirus outbreak. Earlier the exam was conducted in 2500 examination centres. This time it will be increased to 5000 examination centres.

Addressing the students, HRD Minister said that this time the students have got enough time for the preparation and they are very well prepared for the exams. So they should appear in the exam without any stress.
More than 5.5 Lac students have downloaded the national test practice app across the country. Through this app, students can practise for the exam, take tests and also evaluate themselves. So far, the students have spent 6.5 lac hours on the app.

JEE Main exam will be held from 18 to 23 July. To maintain social distancing this time, less number of students will sit for the exam in an exam centre.
