Seat will be cancelled for not responding to the query received
Joint counselling is being conducted by JoSAA for 54477 seats in 112 institutes including IITs and NITs of the country. The seat allotment for the second round will be done tomorrow, 28 September at 5 pm.
Students who have applied for the JoSAA counselling can check the allotment for the second round on josaa.nic.in.
Fee payment, docu upload & query response from 28 September to 1 October
Amit Ahuja, the career counselling expert of Allen Career Institute, said that “In the second round of JoSAA counselling, the online reporting by fee payment, document upload, and response by students to the query are to be done from September 28 to October 1”.
Candidates can apply for withdrawal of seat or exit from the seat allocation process in round 2 from 29 September, 10 am to 1 October, 5 pm.
There will be four more rounds of JoSAA counselling after which registration for CSAB counselling will begin.
CSAB counselling 2022 will begin on October 16.

On finding errors in the documents uploaded by the students in the online reporting, is informing the students through queries. The important thing to note is that after completing all three steps in online reporting for the seat allotted to the students, students must download the provisional seat allotment letter after confirming their allotted seat and should satisfy themselves over the confirmation of their allotted seat. Also, if the students find an error in the uploaded documents, they will have to confirm their allotted seat by responding to the query, otherwise, their allotted seat will be cancelled and they will be out of JoSAA counselling. This year the counselling process will be completed in 6 rounds.
