IITs Released The Dates Of First Semester Studies
The education in the country’s most prestigious engineering institute IITs has come back on track after 3 years. After curtains on the Covid-19 pandemic era, now the IIT studies are back on track. The first semester studies in IITs are going to start from July-August this year.
Earlier till 2019, the first semester of IIT would start by mid of July or August but due to Covid, the schedule of commencement of studies was getting affected from the last three years. In the first semester, sometimes the studies used to start in October and sometimes in December.
The delay in the schedule in the last three years used to completely affect the studies of the first semester. Due to less time, the students used to face difficulty in preparing for the first semester exams.
Along with the release of reporting date by JoSAA, all the IITs have released the schedule for the commencement of the first semester. In this, the first semester studies in IIT Delhi and Madras will start from July 31.
After this, IIT Roorkee, IIT Ropar from August 2, IIT Jodhpur from August 3, IIT Hyderabad on August 4, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bhilai, IIT Jammu on August 7, IIT Varanasi, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Dharwad on August 8, Indore, IIT Tirupati on August 9, IIT Kanpur on August 10, IIT Guwahati, IIT Patna, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Mandi, IIT Palakkad and IIT Goa on August 14 and the first semester studies in IIT Gandhinagar.
The seat allotment for the fifth round of JoSAA Counselling for more than 57,000 seats in 116 colleges including IITs and NITs will be held on July 21. Students can do online reporting till July 24 after the fifth round of seat allotment.
