This year the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) will be conducted in multiple sessions in February, March, April, and May. The first session of JEE Main will be conducted from 23rd February to 26th February 2021. The next exam sessions will occur between 15th March and 18th March, 27th April and 30th April, and 24th May and 28th May.
JEE Main will be conducted in 13 languages, including English and Hindi, for the first time, to give opportunities to students from regional language backgrounds. The regional languages will include Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia, Kannada, Malayalam, and Assamese.
After bringing it to the notice that the board exams are intersecting with the JEE exams, NTA has found a solution because it is challenging for the Biology-Maths students to dabble with board exams and the entrance exams simultaneously. Notably, JEE Main’s last attempt is scheduled to be held from 24th May and coincides with the biology exam that the CBSE will be conducting on 24th May. Various other state boards are also going to be held during this period.
The candidates appearing for the Class 12th Board examination as well as JEE Main will be required to provide information under “Whether appearing for Board Examination on any of the dates- 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, and 28th May 2021” and select the ‘Date’ in their online Application Form so that there is no clash of their schedule of JEE Main with Class 12 Board Examination.
Ultimately there will be overlapping, and students will be relieved from the stress and will be able to focus on both the exams equally.
