The candidates will be given five days to inform the authorities regarding any rectification of discrepancies in their admit cards. They can do so starting at 10.15 am on May 10 up to 5 pm on May 20.
The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) (Advanced) will be held on May 24. It is being conducted by the seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), according to the regulations set by the Joint Admission Board. The exam will be held in two parts, Paper I will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper II will be from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification stating that the admit cards can be downloaded from May 15 to May 23. The registration process for the examination was completed on May 7.
It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their admit cards to the examination centre on the day of JEE Advanced. They can download their admit cards by following the steps mentioned below:
The admit cards will be displayed on the computer screens. The candidates should download and print their hall tickets in order to carry those on the day of the exam.
The All India Rank (AIR) and the category rank will be displayed on the official website once the results are declared. No individual rank cards will be issued. Simply getting a rank in the examination does not guarantee admission to the students into IITs or ISM.
This year, approximately 13 lakh students appeared for the JEE (Main) examination. The students who pass the JEE (Main) are eligible for admission into NITs, CFTIs, SFTIs and IIITs, for the session of 2015.
According to the selection process, approximately 1.5 lakh students will appear for JEE (Advanced) this month.
