The country’s most prestigious engineering entrance exam was successfully conducted on May 20, 2018. Director of ALLEN Career Institute, Sh. Brajesh Maheshwari, told that the exam was conducted online this time in total 573 centres across the country and abroad.
The examination was held in two phases from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. According to the students this time, the level of physics in JEE Advanced was easy, but physics in paper two was harder than the paper one. Similarly, mathematics paper was lengthy. Here the mathematics level in Paper Two was better than the paper one. The level of chemistry in both papers was moderate. In such a case, the students who are good at maths are likely to get more marks.
10988 seats for the students
This examination will open the gate for the admission in 10988 seats of 23 IIT colleges in the country. This time the examination was conducted by IIT Kanpur. 164882 students had registered in the Advanced Examination. This time, online examinations have increased the level of accuracy of paper.
This year, 164822 students had registered for JEE Advanced Online Examination, but 157496 students were present in Paper One. That is, 7326 students were absent. While 15591 students appeared for Paper Two and 9731 students remained absent. Nearly 2405 students did not even appear for Paper One and Paper Two. In this way, these students were already out of the IIT’s race.
