Mathematics was the toughest, Physics was of moderate level, Chemistry section was comparatively easier..
Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Roorkee has successfully conducted the JEE Advanced 2019 exam on May 27, 2019. Sh. Brajesh Maheshwari, Director of Allen Career Institute said, the exam was conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in morning and evening shift between 09:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
According to the feedback of students obtained from a specially designed C Sat app by Allen, JEE Advanced 2019 paper was harder as compared to the previous year.
Students found Physics and Mathematics paper tough while chemistry paper was easier. Paper II was harder than Paper 1. The paper was similar to JEE Advanced 2018, but the technique of asking the questions was different. The paper was lengthy, which consumed extra time. Solving the paper was easier for students who had practised the problems of different difficulty levels during their preparation.
The recorded responses and question papers will be released between May 29 and June 1. While the official answer key of JEE-Advanced 2019 will be announced on June 4 and the results will be declared on June 14. JoSAA will commence the counselling process for IIT’s and NIT’s from June 20. Only those candidates who have qualified JEE Main and JEE Advanced will be eligible to attend the counselling process by JoSAA.
Physics Paper Analysis
The level of the paper was quite difficult and the paper was also lengthy. The questions were confusing, so the students found difficulty in solving them. A lot of questions were asked from Mechanics and Modern Physics Topics.
Chemistry Paper Analysis
Overall the paper was easy, it was a relief for the students. In inorganic chemistry, more questions were related to P Block. Also, quite a lot of questions were based on the Coordination Chemistry. Apart from this, questions related to biomolecule and acidic strength were also asked.
Mathematics Paper Analysis
The paper was tough and lengthy. The calculus part was less whereas more questions were asked from matrix, determinant and vector 3d. The paper was lengthy, as it was a calculation based paper, the students consumed a lot of time in solving the questions. The difficulty level of some the questions was of a very advanced level.
