JEE Advanced 2021 admit card has exam centre details, a self-declaration form, and other instructions for the exam day. Candidates are advised to download all the pages and take printouts.
This year, the JEE Advanced 2021 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 3rd October 2021. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB), released the JEE Advanced 2021 admit card on 25th September 2021.
Candidates can download the admit card from cportal.jeeadv.ac.in or use the direct link on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The admit card will be available for download till 3rd October, the date of JEE Advanced 2021 exam. Candidates will have to log in using their application details to access the Admit Card.
The examination has two mandatory papers that will be conducted in two shifts—Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 pm, and the second paper will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted in the computer-based test mode. The candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2021 and have achieved a rank in the top 2,50,000 candidates are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2021. Also, the students were not able to write JEE Advanced 2020 due to the pandemic, and the COVID-19 restrictions, will be allowed to take the JEE Advanced 2021.
It is advisory that aspirants should reach their exam centres well in advance. The JEE Advanced exam, though scheduled from 9 am, will allow candidates to enter the exam centres in advance to ensure social distancing. Candidates are advised to locate and visit the examination centre a day before the examination so as to ensure that on the day of examination they can reach the centre on time.
After students enter the examination centre, identity verification and biometric capturing will be done before the commencement of both Paper 1 and Paper 2. After completing this process, students will be required to take their assigned seats in the examination hall by 08:30 hours IST for Paper 1 and 14:00 hours IST for Paper 2.
It’s mandatory for candidates to carry the JEE Advanced 2021 admit card filled with the signature from the parent and passport-size photo fixed.
Candidates will be requested to present proof of identity at the JEE Advanced Centre entry gates. A valid photo identity proof includes a PAN card, driving license, Aadhaar card, ration card, and passport. But, a scanned photo of IDs in mobile phones and photocopies of IDs will not be considered valid photo ID proof.
The JEE Advanced admit card has guidelines, including filling up a self-declaration form to ensure that all the candidates, invigilators, and staff members on the exam centres are safe. Candidates appearing for the JEE Advanced 2021 exam need to carry the self-declaration form JEE Advanced 2021 as a part of their JEE Advanced admit card. Candidates have to fill the JEE Advanced self-declaration form 2021, put their left-hand thumb impression and signature at the space provided.
Candidates should carry a 50ml sanitizer bottle with them and follow social distancing norms. Candidates must wear their own masks, carry a transparent bottle of water. Candidates need to maintain a space of at least 6 feet from each other at all times.
At the time of entry, the filled-in COVID-19 Self Declaration (Undertaking) on the Admit Card and the body temperature (using Thermo Guns) will be checked, and Test Centre staff will guide the candidate to respective labs after scanning the barcode on the Admit Card. Candidates are required to adhere to instructions provided by the Test Centre staff strictly.
No candidate will be denied permission to appear for the examination unless she/he violates the COVID-19 directives/advisories of Government (Central/State) applicable on the day of exam and instructions mentioned in the Admit Card.
