Good news for JEE candidates! For the candidates who were allotted seats in the fourth round, the last date of reporting of the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2014 (JEE Main 2014) has been extended from July 31 to August 1 till 5 pm. However, other schedules stay untouched. The revision has been done keeping in mind the extreme weather conditions in certain states. The reporting and withdrawal can now be done till August 1 against the fourth round of seat allotments.
For the candidates who were allotted a seat during the third or fourth round will have to withdraw their current seat if they want to participate in the Spot Round. Candidates, who aren’t satisfied with their current seats, need not go to any RC or PI for the withdrawal process. Either they can simply enrol themselves for the Spot Round or they can also apply for refund through the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) portal. However, this portal will seemingly be active once the Spot Round is over.
The seat allotment for the fourth round was done on July 28, 2014 and the candidates were to report directly to the institute that was allotted to them against the fourth round from the same date. Candidates can view the results here. http://csab.nic.in/ChoiceFilling/result/ResultR4.aspx
Once candidates are on the Central Seat Allocation Board 2014 website, they will be required to enter their JEE Main 2014 roll number and date of birth.
If candidates require any information regarding the seat allotments during Round 1, 2 and 3, opening/closing ranks and seat details, please follow this link http://csab.nic.in/csab2014/archiveLinks.aspx
The fourth round seat allotments are made to candidates who:
