The provisional answer key for JEE MAIN exam that was held all through the nation has been released on the official site – jeemain.nic.in
The exam was conducted on April 8 (offline mode) and April 15-16 (online mode). This year more than 11 Lac 50 Thousand students appeared for the exam.The JEE Main 2018 results will be out by April-end.
The official answer key of JEE Main 2018 will consist of the correct answers to questions asked in the entrance exam. The candidates will be able to compare the correct answers to their recorded responses and calculate their probable scores. The official answer key will be available for all codes – A, B, C and D pen and paper exam.
Students can check the answer keys and the response sheets online on the official website.
They can raise an objection on the answer keys or raise requests for a wrong capture of the responses against the OMR sheets.
A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 per question is applicable, therefore, the students are advised to go through the answer keys and OMR sheets carefully before raising objections. However, if the challenge is accepted by the CBSE Board, the amount would be refunded.
Official Statement for JEE Main 2018 Answer Key:
The answer keys & images of response sheets (OMR sheets) of Pen & Paper Based examination and answer keys of Computer based examination will be displayed on the website www.jeemain.nic.in during 24th–27th April, 2018. The candidates, who are not satisfied with the captured response, maychallenge by filling online application form and paying a sum of Rs. 1000/-per question The challenge of answer keys will also be accepted online only through the link available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in up to 11.59 PM on 27/04/2018 on payment of Rs.1000/-per question The fee can be paid by credit/debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable, however, in case the challenge is accepted by the Board, the fee of Rs. 1000/- for each accepted challenge will be refunded to the concerned candidate. Such refund will be made online to the concerned credit/debit card account, so the candidates/parents are advised to use their own credit/debit card for making above payment. The JAB’s/CBSE’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained
