JEE (Main) 2020 Online Application Form Correction facility extended, check complete details

NTA has extended the facility for correction in the Candidate Particulars in the JEE (Main) 2020 Online Application Form, including Choice of Centre Cities, Photograph.

As per the notification due to COVID-19 epidemic, the facility for correction in the Particulars, Choice of Centre Cities, Photograph and Signature in the Online Application Forms of JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION JEE (Main)–2020 has been extended from 15/07/2020 till 20/07/2020.

The JEE (Main) examination will be held between 1 to 6 September, and JEE Advanced exam will be held on 27 September.

The candidates are advised to visit the website (jeemain.nta.nic.in), verify their particulars, and make necessary corrections. Corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Forms shall be accepted upto 05.00 PM and submission of fee (if applicable) upto 11.50 PM.

The NTA will make all effort to allot Centre City of examination to the candidates in order of the choices now being opted by them in their Application Form, subject to the availability of capacity in the desired city.

However, due to administrative reasons, a different city may be allotted, and the NTA’s decision regarding allotment of Centre City shall be final. In case, any additional fee payment is required depending on the changes made in the form, the requisite (additional) fee, if applicable, can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM. The final changes/update in the online application form will be reflected only after the payment.

Some of the candidates have uploaded Photographs/Signatures, which are illegible or have uploaded Photographs with Mask; such candidates are advised to upload a clear photograph/signature of the desired specification to avoid cancellation of their candidature.

No change in the application form will be accepted through fax/application, including e-mail etc. Those candidates who have sent e-mails earlier regarding any correction are also advised to verify and make necessary corrections if required by them.
The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates.

The candidates appearing for N.D.A. & N.A. Examination (I), 2020 being conducted by UPSC on 6 September 2020 are informed to also update as ‘YES’, in their Online Application Form, during the correction period so that there is no clash of their schedule of JEE (Main) with N.D.A. & N.A.Examination (I), 2020.
