Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced the dates for JEE Main 2021 pending exams. The third session of JEE Main will be conducted between July 20 and 25, and the fourth session will be held from July 27 till August 2 this year. The JEE Main 2021 application window for the third session will be opened tonight, and the last date to register is July 8. For the fourth and final session, the registration window will be reopened from July 9 to July 12.
A candidate can apply for one session or more than one session together and pay the exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for one session, he/she has to pay the Examination Fee only for that session during the application period.
The candidates who have applied earlier for April/May Session can modify their particulars (Session, Category, Subject, etc.) during the period from 6 to July 8, 2021, for (postponed) April Session and 9 to July 12, 2021, for (postponed) May. Due to limited time, there will be no correction window available after the Application closes on July 8, 2021, for the (postponed) April Session and July 12 2021 for the (postponed) May Session. Therefore the candidates have to be extremely careful. Candidates can change their exam centers for third and fourth session. They can also withdraw from (postponed) April/May sessions by following the procedure detailed in the Application.
The number of cities has also been increased from 232 to 334 to ensure Covid-19 safety procedures. The number of examination centres in every shift will also be increased from 660 to 828. All related latest COVID-19 guidelines and protocols will be followed at all examination centers.
