JEE Main 2021: The third session is to be held in seven shifts; on July 22, the examination was held in only one shift

The country’s largest engineering entrance exam JEE-Main (third session), has begun. On Thursday, July 22, the JEE-Main exam was conducted in only one shift from 3 pm to 6 pm, while on July 20, the exam was conducted in two shifts. Also, on July 25 and 27, the exam will be conducted in 2 shifts. This year NTA will conduct JEE-Main third session examination in seven shifts instead of eight.

About 7 lac 9 thousand students got registered for JEE-Main third session. Due to the conduction of the examination in seven shifts, now about 1 lac, 1 thousand 285 students would appear in each shift.

The NTA score will be issued in 7 decimal percentile based on the number of students in each shift. With the number of shifts being 7, the number of students in each shift will increase, which will increase the level of competition among the students.
