JEE (Main) and NEET (UG) 2020 exam dates to be reviewed by HRD Minister: Read here for complete information

The JEE (Main) and NEET (UG) 2020 exam status will be cleared soon by HRD Minister. JEE (Main) exam is to be held in 224 cities of the country between 18 to 23 July in two shifts between 9 AM to 12 PM, and 3 PM to 6 PM. While the NEET (UG) exam is proposed to be held on 26 July in offline mode, altogether 26 lacs students will appear in both the examinations.
Parents and students have raised concerns about the conduction of exams. To clarify the confusion, Union HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal’ Nishank’ has asked the National Testing Agency, NTA, to review the condition and check the feasibility of conducting the NEET and JEE Main 2020 examinations in July.

He stated that he had asked the committee to review the situation and submit the report latest by tomorrow. Accordingly, the decision on whether to conduct or defer the examinations would be taken by the MHRD.

In view of the JEE (Main) exam dates, many engineering institutes like BITS, VIT, Manipal, COMEDK, SRM, Amrita, etc. have also released their entrance exam dates for July and August for which their application process is also going on. Also, many top engineering institutes like IIIT Hyderabad and Bengaluru, Dhirubhai Ambani, Thapar, Nirma, JP Noida have extended their application process till July-August.
