National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the online Application for April 2019 examination. The candidates who wish to appear for the JEE Main April 2019 can apply on the official website.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the First JEE (Main) Examination from January 8 to 12, 2019 and the result of the same has been declared on January 19. Now, the NTA has announced to conduct JEE (Main) April 2019 Examination in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. between 7th April 2019 to 20th April 2019.
The JEE Main April 2019 examination will be conducted for two papers – Paper 1 for BE/B.Tech admissions and Paper 2 for B.Arch/ B.Planning. The candidates can register themselves by logging on to the website – jeemain.nic.in. The candidates should save the username and password, as it will be useful for login in future.
The candidates can apply online from 8th February 2019 to 07th March 2019. The fees can be paid online up to 08th March 2019.
Candidates who have already appeared in JEE Main January 2019 can appear in JEE Main April 2019 for improvement if they wish. The candidates who could not appear in JEE Main January 2019 can also appear in JEE Main April 2019 Examination. The Student’s best of the two NTA scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/Ranking.
A candidate may appear in Paper 1 and/or Paper 2 depending upon the course/he/she wishes to pursue.
All the candidates aspiring to take admission to the undergraduate programs at IITs for the year 2019 will have to appear in the Paper-1 (B. E. /B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) 2019. Based on the performance in the Paper-1 (B. E. /B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) 2019, the number of top candidates as per the requirement of JEE (Advanced) (including all categories) will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2019. The Shift I of Paper I will be from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and the Shift II will be from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Whereas Paper II can be held in two or more shifts.
