The exam dates for JEE Main 2020 and NEET UG 2020 has been announced by Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry. JEE Main 2020 exam will be held from 18 to 23 July, while the NEET-UG 2020 exam will be held on 26 July.
HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank conducted a Live Webinar today and interacted with students from all over the country. During this, he also announced the exam dates for JEE Main & NEET-UG 2020. The official notice for the same is expected soon on nta.ac.in.
Initially, the NEET UG 2020 exam was scheduled for 3 May while the JEE Main 2020 April attempt exam was scheduled to be held on 5 to 11 April 2020. However, both the examinations were postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
JEE Main 2020 has been postponed till July. As per the announcement, JEE Main 2020 would be now conducted from 18 to 23 July. The JEE Advanced 2020 examination would be conducted in the month of August. NEET 2020 Exam would be conducted on 26 July.
HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has advised the students to stay home and study. He also ensured that the CBSE Board Exam 2020 Dates would be announced within a couple of days. The announcement is likely within a day or two.
He further suggested class 12 students waiting for their board exams to study other courses. He also urged parents to help the students and keep them motivated.
Along with this CBSE has decided to promote students of classes 1 to 8 and also classes 9 and 11 would be promoted based on internal marks. Remaining CBSE board exams 2020 would be conducted when the situations become normal.
