Joint Seat Allocation 2016: Deadline extended to June 29

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has extended the deadline for choice filling. Now, the candidates can fill up their choices latest by June 29.

  • How to register and choice filling?
  • Go to the official website
  • Click on the tab, ‘Click here for registration and choice filling’
  • Enter roll number and password
  • After submitting the same, a new window will be generated on the screen.
  • The candidates can now fill-in their choices

JoSAA will conduct four rounds i.e., first through 4th rounds of seat allocation for academic programmes offered by institutes under JoSAA 2016. The choices can be filled in decreasing order of the candidate’s preference.

The candidates must note that they must lock their choices, in case if they don’t, their last saved choices will be locked automatically when the time-window for filling-in of choices closes.

The candidates can make the seat acceptance fee through e-challan/sbi net banking. The verification of the documents can be done at any centre.
Also, the candidates can withdraw their option by reporting at a reporting center before the fourth round of seat allocation.
