Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2018- Counselling Schedule Released

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the counselling schedule for admissions in IIT, NIT and IIIT. All eligible candidates can register themselves and fill their choices for the academic program under JoSAA,  from 15 June 2018-25 June 2018.

The result of JEE Advanced is likely to be declared on 10 June. The counselling will be done for admission into 23 IIT, 31 NIT, 23 IIIT and 23 GFTI. This year, a joint counselling will be conducted for around 100 colleges having 600 programs. All the students who have appeared in JEE Main are eligible for counselling for admission into NIT and IIIT and the students who will qualify JEE Advanced, are eligible for counselling for IIT admissions.

7 rounds of JoSAA counselling 2018 will be conducted where the eligible candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit and preferences. The first and second mock seat allocation will be issued on 19 June 2018 and 24 June 2018. The seat-allocation will be held on 27th June. After the seat allocation, students will have to do the document verification by going to the Reporting Center between 28 June and 2 July. On 3 July, the second round for seat allocation will take place. Whereas Round 3 will be on 6 July, Round 4 on 9 July, Round 5 on 12 July, Round 6 on 15 July and the final seventh round will be on 18 July.
