JoSAA Counseling 2025 – Reporting Commences for Final Admission in IIT

Seat Confirmation in NIT-IIIT will be done by July 27

After the completion of JoSAA Counseling for admission in IITs-NITs and IIITs of the country, now the students are eager to get admission in the allotted colleges.

Students are gathering information on the website of the allotted colleges for final admission. In such a situation, the students who have been allotted IIT after JoSAA counseling will now have to get complete information about the remaining college fees and documents required for admission on the website of the allotted IIT.

Students will have to Deposit PAF

ALLEN Career Institute’s Education Expert said that for admission in IIT, students are taking information about the dates of reporting and starting of classes given on the website of the allotted IIT.

Apart from this, if the NIT-IIIT allotted students are satisfied with the colleges allotted to them by the NIT system, then they will have to deposit the partial admission fee between 23rd and 27th July, which is Rs 45,000 for general, OBC and EWS and Rs 20,000 for SC-ST.

Only by paying this partial admission fee, students can confirm the seat allotted to them in NIT system colleges under JoSAA counseling. If they do not deposit the partial admission fee, their allotted seat will be cancelled.

The seat acceptance fee deposited by the students during counseling will be adjusted in the remaining college fees during their admission.

Such students who secure their seat by paying partial admission fee during JoSAA counseling and if no new seat is allotted to them after participating in CSAB counseling, then the seat allotted to them in JoSAA counseling will be re-allocated.

First Semester in IITs will Start Between 21st July and 18th August

Expert told that the first semester of IITs will start between 21st July and 19th August. In this, IIT Roorkee, Hyderabad, Dhanbad, Bhilai and Jammu will start on 28th July, IIT Kharagpur on 29th July, IIT Rupnagar, Palakkad on 30th July, IIT Delhi, Madras, Jodhpur and Kanpur on 31st July, IIT Bhubaneshwar on 1st August, IIT Indore, Patna, Tirupati and Dharwad on 4th August, IIT Goa on 5th August, IIT Gandhinagar on 18th August. Apart from this, IIT Bombay, Guwahati, Jammu, and Mandi have not released the dates of commencement of their first semester.
